Grace finished brushing her hair as she looked into the mirror at herself. She had cleaned up nicely, but kept things simple as far as clothing and makeup. She was only going out with her brother after all for some bonding time that was long overdue. Grace understood why it had been that way though; things just kept coming up. Poor Jacen Allen needed a friend and Ben had to be that friend. Grace would've done the same for any of her friends that got stuck in a rut like that. She tried to steer clear from the both of them, for the most part, as not get in the way or cause any trouble. Most of Ben's friends, the ones that she knew anyway, seemed nice but she didn't want to be the annoying little sister that asked too many questions. She didn't see herself as being nosy, maybe just a little curious as to what happened exactly. Grace hadn't got all the details but she did certainly figure out that Jacen would probably be staying for quite a while.
She got up, put her brush down, and stepped away from the mirror. She checked her pockets to make sure she had everything she needed. Her cellphone... her small purse... That seemed to be everything. Grace grabbed her jacket and walked out of her room then down the hall to Ben's door. She knocked gently, "Ben, are you ready?" It had been a short time after he got home from work but long enough to get ready to go out. They hadn't exactly agreed on a time so now seemed a good time to check.
