Rory was well aware how genuinely tolerant his brother was, which his why he'd dropped the subject and decided not to tease him. Guilting Gio wouldn't make either of them feel better, so it was best just to let it go. He knew Gio hadn't meant anything by the term, anyway. It was just a word that had slipped out. It was okay.
When Gio's phone buzzed, Rory couldn't help but crane his neck a little, trying to see who it was. Fortunately, Gio did him the courtesy of telling him a few seconds later, and Rory smiled quietly, knowingly. "No problem Gio. You do that." When his brother had closed his phone again Rory said, "You're taking Glory to the dance, right?" Rory said, more as a rhetorical question than anything else since he already knew Gio was. "I'm glad for that, Gio. She's a good kid. And she likes you!" He smiled at his brother fondly. "A lot."
