Travis, anxious? No, never. That wouldn't be the manly thing to do, go in a nerve racking spree after spending hours fighting with a dammed piece of meat with a horrible predisposition to be cooked. So maybe he was a bit anxious, but it was mostly because he wasn't sure if his timing had been right. That dish was one to prepare with time, and at the same time, the timing between cooking it and eating it was pretty much the factor that could make it taste like heaven or like a cheap cheese burger. Fortunately, Makayla arrived just on time, and the scent coming from the dinning room was exactly the one Travis wanted to smell; his enhanced nose made it almost intoxicating, but truth was there was already another scent making him smile as he approached Makayla, and that was hers.
Extending a hand, he gave her a cocky smile. "May the lady join me in the kitchen room?"
