Luke chuckled at Lizzie's perfect counter. "Okay yeah, yeah. Male stereotyping. But Lizzie." He stopped strumming for a moment and looked at Lizzie, his serious tone running completely counter to the grin on his face. "How effing cool would it be to bounce bullets off your abs? Come on! That's that's just cool." He flicked his head, displacing a few curls. "Coolness is very important to us guys. Why do you think there are so many explosions in action movies?"
His smile widened as Lizzie's giggle. She was so cute. He might've reached over to hug her, but the guitar hindered the action, and it was probably better that he didn't do that anyway, so he just resumed playing his song. "Older I'll give you. You can't help that. I'll let you have genuine, too. But more talented?" Luke shook his head briskly. "My mom says that 'talent' is just a word people use to oversimplify the artistic process. It's not just talent, it's practice. And we've already established that he's older than you, so that means he's had more time to practice."
