Luckily for Luke, Lizzie wasn't too familiar with all the lyrics of the song he was playing. It was probably a good thing, the inquisitive mood she was in would have prompted more questioning. Instead it was just something nice for her to listen to whilst they sat and talked. Luke's ability to multi-task always surprised her.
"Toughness in guys is overrated," she countered smoothly, one shoulder hitching up unapologetically. "Everyone thinks girls want tough, confident guys that could bounce bullets off their abs and don't show emotion but that's not cool. I mean... sometimes the bad boy thing is hot, but..." She just shrugged. She'd never really liked discussing boys with Luke before; for some odd reason it always made her feel uncomfortable but now that he thought boys were attractive too, they could maybe start? She didn't know.
The joking question caused an honest to god girly giggle escape from Lizzie and she ducked her head. "Except he's older and way more talented and- yeah." She wet her lower lip, catching it between her teeth and fighting another giggle. "He's totally genuine, too."
