Rolling his eyes and shaking his head, Ben looked at Charlie with a bit of a sigh. “Thank you, oh great atlas of the United States. I’d forgotten for a second exactly where we were,” he said, his grin pretty much belying any seriousness in what he was saying. “I’m surprised you’re up this early. Your need for pancakes clearly must have eclipsed your need for sleep,” he mused as he slid into the booth across from Charlie.
His plan for the day? Really, until work, Ben didn’t have any plans. “Well, I was going to study for my architectural theory test until I have to go to work at three, but something tells me that you have something else in mind for me, don’t you?” He let a smirk cross his face as he looked at her.
