Eisen shrugged. “Yeah. It’s frustrating to see him refuse to admit that he’s capable of so much more than he gives himself credit for,” he pointed out. “I don’t know. I mean, I can’t say I completely understand his point of view, because I’ve never been in his shoes, but… it just sucks, feeling helpless like this,” he ended simply. “I shouldn’t spend this whole time talking about him, though,” he shook his head and smiled at her, though it was a little weaker than before. “Sorry.”
“A draw sounds fair,” he chuckled, smirking into each kiss she pressed to his lips. “I think that is the best idea I’ve heard in a long time,” he admitted, pulling her close and pressing their lips tightly together.
