A laugh escaped Eisen’s lips as Lexie mentioned their kiss debt. “This is very true,” he pointed out, leaning down and pressing his lips to hers once again. “Something tells me that we’ll be working on that one for a long while. Thing we can put and kind of dent in it before the night is over?” he asked. “It’ll take a lot of work, but I think we’re both up for the task.”
Until a few nights ago, Eisen was completely and totally content to continue acting like he didn’t want anything for his birthday, but once the thought entered his mind, he bit his lip. “Um,” he chuckled softly. “I did think of something,” he confessed. “It’s kind of… I’m not sure if it will work, but it’s something that I’ve wanted for a really long time. And now that I know that you can, maybe, possibly, try and do it… um,” he swallowed thickly. This had gone a lot easier in his head. It had just been a matter of ‘ask her and move on,’ but now that he was in the spotlight, it was so much harder.
Like a band aid, he thought. Quick. “Um… do you think you could… heal Rory?”
