Lexie giggled and nuzzled his neck. "Well then maybe we'll just be allowed to take breaks to breathe, hmm?" Lexie asked. "As I recall, we both have something of a debt to account for and I really don't think we've even made a dent yet." She rested her head against his chest for a few moments a before looking up at him.
"We really should," she agreed. "But first I've got a question for you." She pressed her lips against his one more time and then stood up on tiptoe to whisper in his ear. "What do you want for your birthday?" No, she had not let this go. Lexie could be persistent when she wanted to be, and she really didn't buy that Eisen didn't want anything. She figured if she was persistent enough she could get a straight answer out of him, although time was starting to run short.
