If Lexie caught the nervousness in Eisen's eyes, she didn't show it. She only smiled and enjoyed the warmth that rose within her eyes Eisen kissed her cheek. The warmth of Eisen's apartment was pretty enjoyable too. "Turkey soup?" Lexie asked, glancing over toward the kitchen. "Ohh you're right. This is the perfect night for it. But some cocoa now sounds lovely."
When her coat, boots and the rest of her winter gear were off and safely hung, she scampered over to hug him gently, pressing her face against his neck. "I missed you too," she returned, her smile radiant. "I'm still getting used to this whole 'being able to see you whenever I want without having to pretend I'm just your friend' thing, though. I think somehow it's making me miss you more."
Finally disentangling herself from Eisen, Lexie made her way to the kitchen, half-running so she made it there before Eisen did so she could deliver the hot chocolate to him.
