Seth watched the shock and a little bit of horror come to her face. He knew this must be hurting her, but she deserved to know. Not telling her all these years killed him. He didn't want her to develop her power and be afraid to tell him, feel like she was a freak, shrink into herself like he had seen several of his students do.
At her question he tried not to flinch at the mention of one Macy Jones. He still was crazy in love with her. Even with his pursuit of Fiona, Macy was still the only girl he wanted. Not just for a quick little one night stand. Macy was the girl he wanted for the long run, maybe forever, if she'd have him that is. But no...she wanted Noah...the asshole who had left her broken hearted time after time after time. He shook his head, no time to dwell on that, Christine was expecting and answer, "Yeah, most of the people on this island. That is why we're all here, that is why a lot of the kids were adopted here and a bunch of them don't even know. It's not right...it's not...they're kids...they were innocent, some of the original subjects were adults when it happened. Some had a choice in the matter. These kids...didn't and that's not right."
At her question about Francis Seth shrugged, "Honestly...I don't know. He's all about keeping this experiment a secret. Since he thinks it's a good thing. I don't share that attitude about it so that is why I told you. I didn't think you deserved to be in the dark any longer. I didn't want you to get a power and think you were a freak. I didn't want you to pull away from me. I'm here Chrissy...always. I know it's a lot to take in, but...I just had to tell you."
