"Hey now- Green is a pretty epic last name. Well, it was until I was up for the lead in Swan Lake and lost, everyone kept saying I was 'Green with envy', I wanted to stick glass in their shoes," Lily said, her tangent about hormonally driven teenage violence laid out as passively as if she'd been complaining that the weather guy got it wrong that morning. "But no, there's no booze. But we can pick up sparkling apple juice on the way home, buy some cannolis and watch "The Godfather" if you want," she said, raising a brow. "That or we can just watch Monty Python. But I want something fattening and sweet, I think you'd be alright with that?" she asked, her painting nice and even as she focused on looking at the wall and not at looking at Lukas.
And now that her 'part one' of the night was over, it seemed like 'part two'. "Maybe you should invite Mao to our next pre-planned movie marathon."
