It had been a while since Noelle had experienced anything near a panic attack. Years of learning how to breathe and extensive therapy to get her to that point. Urgent texts from her sister/bff had a habit of undoing all that grueling training, and Noelle found herself rushing home with only half the things on her grocery list. And she'd told the cashier to "keep the change". What the fuck was that? He wasn't a cab driver. Cashiers didn't get tips. By the time she'd gotten to her car, Cait had somewhat calmed her down, and the rest of the way home she was mentally berating herself for freaking out and acting so dumb.
Hauling two full bags of groceries, she flung open the door to their tiny home. "Alright, this had better be good. I just tipped the cashier. Don't freak me out like that!"
