Sometimes Brendan focused so hard on taking orders that he barely noticed who was talking to him. Thankfully he somehow knew where the orders went after he made them. He was in one of those moments now, and hadn't even seen Mari come up to the bar. He had looked up just as she waved over to him, suprising him unnoticeably, then smiled. He laughed when she ordered as if it were a big deal, "Starting with the hard stuff, huh? My kind of girl." Brendan spun around to grab her lemon wedges before filling up her glass with ice and water. "How have things been going? I haven't seen you in a while. I bet work has been pretty interesting with this blizzard."
After he finished the glass, he put it down in front of her then dropped a long straw into it with the lemons in a small bowl on the side so she could use them as she wanted.
