When she called to him, Nathan realized that his ignorance showed in his action but he attempted to play it off. "I was just about to check there," he remarked with his failure of a cover up. He follow behind her over to the fireplace and reached to the mantel for the lighter. He stopped for a moment as she moved the screen and dove in. As he picked up the lighter, he couldn't help but glance over... to see what she was doing.
He crouched down next to her as Savannah came back out and explained the instructions. Not a moment after, he lit both ends of the paper bag that wrapped the starter log. Nathan grinned, "Cool. Our fireplace at home is a little different; it's a gas pilot light that when you flick the switch it turns on. I always thought wood fireplaces were nicer though."
