Savannah couldn't help but note the way he looked around, as if a little unsure. Her laugh was gentle, pure amusement with no disrespect intended. "Over here."
The fireplace was simple, the exterior made up to look like red brick. "The lighter is on the mantle," she instructed as she carefully moved the screen aside. Savannah leaned forward, the upper half of her lean body disappearing into the large fireplace and leaving only her backside as he looked for the lighter. Reaching inside, she began to fiddle with the logs already stacked there. A similar stack sat beside the fireplace, nestled together neatly within a bin.
"See the log with the paper on it? That's the starter log." She leaned back on her heels, inviting him to settle down on the floor with her in order to better see the logs inside. "All you need to do is light it on both ends."
