Glory frowned. "I don't know if you getting an asthma attack is really the best way to get even with her," Glory said, sounding a little more serious than she probably should've. "It sounds kind of dangerous to me, you know? And besides, karma's great but it doesn't always work that way. At least not as far as I know. Some people are just... mean. You know?" Glory avoided the other girl's eyes as she spoke, her focus shifting from Becca to her sister. Glory had always wondered what she'd done to make Eden hate her so much, but nothing had ever seemed plausible beyond pure, inexplicable dislike.
She was glad for the change in topic, however, and as the hours passed Glory began to feel a little more at home. Sasha was sweet and easy to talk to, and before long, Glory had relaxed more than she'd thought she would. It was strange not to have so many walls up, but the conversation was so fun, so deliciously trivial, that it was hard to be defensive.
Glory tilted her head curiously at Sasha's offering. "Sure," Glory responded. "What is it? Are you double jointed or something?" It was a testament to how relaxed she was that Glory's brain didn't immediately jump to something more serious, like the strange abilities that her sister and Dietre seemed to possess.
