Glory was excited about the prospect of a sleepover too, if a little nervous. She hadn't been lying when she'd said that she'd never had a sleepover before. Honestly, it probably had more to do with her mother's strictness and less with her lack of a social life (although her mother was right - she now had a surprisingly busy social calendar). But either way, now that she finally had the chance to at least pretend that she was a normal teenage girl, she wasn't going to let it pass her by, nervousness or no.
Arriving at Sasha's door, she clutched her overnight bag tightly and nibbled a little on her lower lip. This would be fun. Right? This is the kind of thing that girls did for fun. So that's what it would be.
"Hi Sasha!" she greeted her hostess, smiling as the door opened and she went inside. "Thanks for inviting me! I... brought chips and cookies," she added bashfully, offering them to her. Hopefully Sasha would think that she brought them from her own house, even though she'd bought them on the way over. Her house was not known for the presence of junkfood.
