Wolf had to agree that Luke apparently had at least one sweet bone in his body if he was willing to make Mao an award certificate to make him feel better. No one had ever done anything like that for him; then again Wolf rarely maintained more than flings with others. Despite how fucked up it all was, he could say that Mao and Luke did share something pretty deep, even if at times it was deep in a bad way.
"I'm done spilling the beans on you, I swear," Wolf said, lifting his hands in a disarming way. At least, he wasn't going to be telling Lulu this stuff so she could go report it to Lily – unless Lily really did think Mao was a rapist alpha male, in which case Wolf would have to talk to her himself. He knew that if Lily was going to choose sides in it all she would choose her son's, but Wolf really thought Mao was the one who deserved support. Mao was a good, true, honest and totally endearing person in Wolf's humble opinion.
"Luke has his good qualities," Wolf admitted grudgingly. "He's smart, attractive, clever … you know, et cetera." Bleh, that left a bad taste in his mouth. "But, he's a homophobic prick. The girls probably like that. Stupid, small town mentality."
