Lulu nodded vigorously. "It does kind of stand to reason, I guess. Didn't someone connected to Mao out Luke last year? I don't remember. Apparently they made out." A devious twinkle appeared in her eye. "I asked Wolf if it was true. Apparently Luke drew a picture of Mao in the Coppertone Baby pose, so perhaps the feelings mutual? Honestly, I think that's Lily's biggest fear. Mao didn't exactly make the best first impression, from what I've heard." And Lulu had heard a lot, since it exasperated Lily that Mao had ben the boy who'd shown up at a party at her house, tipsy, eating her food, and dressed in drag. Lulu probably would've laughed, but even she could understand how that would be off-putting.
"And I don't know about that last part," Lulu stroked her chin thoughtfully. "Tetsuo's related to him - technically - and even he doesn't really seem to understand the kid. Maybe we should give him council or something." Lulu was all about being a friend of the downtrodden Other. She'd never apologized for being different in her whole life, and it annoyed her to see other kids who were forced into that position.
