The Sullivans lived near enough to the school that she could usually walk to and from. In fact, from the living room window, she could see the activity of the pair bustling about.

From her position, she couldn't quite make out who the boys were -- but they seemed to be doing something.
Overcome with curiosity (and feeling a little like a shut-in), Savannah prepared for the short walk. Bundled up in a soft pink and white jacket with her warm, fuzzy mittens and a cap settled over her dark hair, the high school senior made her way out into the snow.
Despite the amount of snow, it was an easy walk to the site, unaware that she was about to step into the midst of a snowball fight.
"Hey, guys," she began, as if on cue. "What's going on?"
