Jac laughed, rolling her eyes playfully. Yeah, that definitely sounded like an obvious match. "Totally. I guess heaven got something right, so good for them," she teased, lips quirking up in a grin. "Sounds perfect."
She picked up on what he expected her to do as he held out the joint - she'd been flirted with before, after all, and it was fairly obvious but still gave her a little thrill - and she was leaning in to inhale, but before she got quite close enough she felt his arm touching her shirt lightly, which she wouldn't have noticed at all except that his expression just went blank. It was weird, like he'd been temporarily shut off or whatever, and she pulled back, startled.
He didn't seem to be paying attention to her anymore, off in some weird little world, but she waved a hand in front of his face experimentally. She was weighing her options when he suddenly woke up, or something, though she didn't think it was anything she did. She was also pretty sure this wasn't something that normally happened.
"Whoa?" she repeated, looking skeptical at this reaction, though she had to stifle a giggle. This had just gotten so weird, but it was kind of...funny, maybe interesting. Probably not that serious, since apparently he wasn't seizing or having a stroke or something. "What the hell, James?"
