Hm...
Luke wasn't the only one glad that Mao didn't drop trou, Mao could only imagine what kind of weird freak out Luke would have had. That was what made all of this so hard, it felt like at any moment he could do something to scare the other boy away. He had to watch himself, reign in his crazy impulses. An arduous task, but the fact he was able to do it only showed how much he had matured in the last year.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I promise to let you win once or twice, don't worry." He got his Playstation ready and popped in a game. "This Soul Caliber has Darth Vader as a playable character, even, he's pretty badass."
And so the afternoon went. Distracted by video games there was no time for awkwardness, innuendo, or uncomfortable Freudian slips. They were just two teenage guys, two friends, having a good time.
