Like nothing had been wrong, Eisen chuckled when she spoke of the snow as excitedly as she had. It was like leaving the hospital had given her a new lease on life, and every single time her excitement showed, it reminded her exactly why he’d fallen in love with her to begin with. She was just...happy. This snow...it wasn’t much, but it was enough that when he looked over at her, the white flakes falling around her made her look somehow more beautiful than before. He wrapped his scarf around his neck a little tighter and walked down the front steps, putting his hands in his pockets in an attempt to deter him from reaching out and touching her.
He watched her, smile still firmly planted on his face, and when she had her back turned, an idea struck him. The smile morphed into a smirk and he reached down into a nearby snowdrift, grabbing a handful of white powder and wandering toward Lexie and allowing his smirk to go mischievous. He caught her mid spin and tapped her on the shoulder, watching as she turned to face him and gently throwing the light, fluffy powder at her. He dashed away quickly, giggling like a ten year old and sliding on the icy ground and almost falling, but somehow managing to keep his feet on the ground.
