Sighing heavily again, Eisen shook his head, letting it hang down in disappointment. “Fine! Ruin all my fun, why don’t you?” he grumped, but the smirk on his face was pretty much a dead giveaway as to how serious he actually was about that. Another soft chuckle at Dr. Televopolis and Eisen shook his head. “Anyone who isn’t us would think we were insane for this, you know that, right? Guess that’s why it’s a good thing it was thought up in the privacy of my apartment,” he mused, glancing up at the menu select screen and grinning a little more. “Hang on, hang on! Captain Language Person? Something more badass than that, dude! The Languagizer. Or the Linguisticator…yeah, I like that one.”
Eisen paused, pondering the sidekick situation. “That would be implying that I’m none of those things! I should be insulted!” Of course, he would have been, had he thought for a second that Rory meant it that way. But he didn’t. “I don’t really think either of us are leader material, if our Beiber scores are any indication,” he said not-quite-seriously. “Maybe we’re equals in the English correcting game…I think that makes more sense. We work better as a team anyway, right?” he asked through a mouthful of pizza. Bad manners, sure, but Rory wouldn’t care.
At Rory’s assessment of the situation with Lexie, Eisen shrugged a shoulder. “She’s going through a lot. I just sort of wanted to make her smile, you know? She needed it,” he said softly, thinking of the smile she’d worn when he started giving her the gifts. At the question as to whether or not he wanted to go there, Eisen turned his head and looked at Rory. “You’ve known me for ages, dude. I’ve wanted to go there for a really long time. But this isn’t meant to be a date or anything. She needs support right now and I’m not going to pressure her into anything. Not after everything she’s been through recently.”
