One of the very few people who could get away from just barging into his apartment was Rory. Aren, obviously, was another, and his mother a third. He was unsurprised when the door open and moments later he saw Rory rolling in like he owned the place. Really, he may as well have, so it was no big deal.
“Yo? What are we, street now?” Eisen smirked at his friend and resisted the urge to help when he plopped himself onto the couch. “Should I start calling you dawg and asking you if things are off the heezy for sheezy? Whatever that means…” he arched an eyebrow and shook his head at himself. “Okay, so I’m never doing that again,” he shook his head and laughed softly.
His attention diverted to the snacks and he smiled. “Sweet, dude. Thanks,” he said, not even hesitating to open the bag and grab a couple chips. “Pizza is on the way, too, since I figured that you showed up with an appetite,” he added. Rory always did, anyway.
“Oh,” he chuckled and looked at the movie. “I was actually just sorta screwing around on the internet, looking up old movies and I happened past it,” he said, flipping over the DVD case. “Apparently it’s one of the top ten best comedies of all time…and not even because it’s traditionally funny. Of course you were totally the first person I thought of,” he teased.
