Honestly, it was going to be very, very difficult for Rory not to want to pick Eisen's brain about his talent. In fact, right now there was nothing that Rory wanted to do more. It was weird, what was going on, and weirdness, especially unexplained weirdness, really didn't sit well with him. It wasn't logical, after all, but as much as he tried to think of an explanation, Rory's well-trained brain just couldn't come up with anything valid. And that bothered him. It bothered him a lot. Still, it seemed like Eisen was just as puzzled on this point as Rory was, so it wouldn't really do either of them any if Rory pressed the issue, so he didn't plan to. At least... not yet.
Rolling up to Eisen's apartment building, Rory glared at the stairs for a moment before scooting up the ramp and opening the door, which was a difficult one because it was so heavy. Fortunately his ritual muscle-strengthening exercises were paying off, and it wasn’t long before he was rolling into Eisen’s apartment. He’d given up on knocking long ago – they’d been doing movie night for long enough that there was no need to.
“Yo,” Rory greeted his friend as he glided into the living room. “I brought snacks!” He reached in his chair bag and tossed Eisen a family-sized bag of Cool Ranch Doritos before settling closer to the couch and bracing himself to swing up onto it next to Eisen. There was only so much of his chair that he could take, after all. Picking up the DVD box he read the back, chuckling. “Where’d you find this gem, anyway?”
