“I’m glad,” Eisen smiled, then caught sight of the yawn and semi-stretch out of the corner of his eye. “Why don’t I let you get some rest, hm? Get out of your hair,” he offered, grabbing up the Tupperware container and putting it back into his school bag, closing the top and then quickly turning his attention back to her.
He smiled again, letting her fingers slide from his. “But don’t forget to call me if you need to, okay? Even if it’s just because you need someone to talk to, I’m here for you, okay?” He wanted to be sure that she understood that she wasn’t going through this alone. He was always on her side.
