WHO: Glory Bennett and Gio Spinelli
WHAT: Making up bio labs after school.
WHEN: Friday, December 03.
WHERE: Moses Pearson HS.
RATING: Probably around the PG range.
Even for someone who loved science, staying after school on a Friday was a little much. That he had work later on in the night, no doubt running into many of his classmates as they had fun while he worked, made it all the more unpleasant. However, the bottom line was Giorgio would do anything to maintain his grades, so all complaints were moot anyway. It just didn't stop him from thinking them up as he shuffled into the classroom and dropped his stuff by a random lab station.
Since his teacher wasn't in yet, Gio took a seat and passed the time by watching groups of kids walk past the classroom door on their way outside. The dissection he knew he had to do probably wouldn't take him more than an hour, and then he, too, would be free as a bird – for a few blissful hours, at least, until he had to clean up popcorn and sticky unknown substances from the local movie theater's floor.
