"Yeah, it would have been better if it was someone you really liked, I really shouldn't have asked if you wanted to do that. It should have been special, I'm sorry. Don't tell me not to be, even if you say it's past and nothing can be done, I get that, but still I'm sorry," Carter said somewhat calmly. He really was sorry, mostly because he had currently kissed two girls and he hadn't gotten the fireworks for either one. He was starting to worry that he'd never find that girl, or that maybe she didn't exist. Actually Carter knew exactly what she meant, "Yeah, I mean there was no spark no fireworks. I've never had them with you or Glory, I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever see them."
"Laney, I'm not gonna pay someone to kiss me, that will just feel cheap I think," Carter ran a hand through his hair, "even if it is just practice I want it to be with some one I care about and who I trust."
Carter took a few deep breaths and shot her a mock glare when she said the 'p' word again. She was going to keep saying it since he kept freaking out, so he decided to just ignore it and get used to it. "I guess, I just hope I figure it out, it's stressful and I don't want to hurt either of them."
