"God, I fucking hate this." He couldn't help but bang his fist against his desk, jostling the books and papers there. Biology and English were out to get him. The anatomy labs that they'd been doing had been entirely confusing. Ed was struggling with that. The diagrams helped, but putting all the information together was difficult. With that added on top of the papers they'd been doing in English...it was getting really frustrating. He couldn't really even look at the books on his desk anymore. Just thinking about what he'd have to do with homework was making his head hurt. Some help would probably be really good. And that thought stuck with him as he closed all the books. Rory probably wouldn't mind helping him out. His brother was good about that sort of thing and he didn't get frustrated with Ed's...slow-on-the-uptake-ness. And even if the methods did make Ed feel kind of stupid sometimes (Building models with blocks? Really?), they always worked better with Rory than they did with anyone else. It was a good thing.
Talking to his brother would probably help with his frustration too. Sometimes you just needed to vent. So, Ed packed up his books in his backpack, and headed out with every intention of seeing Rory. He'd barely been thinking about it as he headed home. He used his own key, opening the door to a relatively empty house. He guessed that George and Nico were out. And his mom was probably busy or something. He didn't want to bug anyone, so he made his way to Rory's room. He knocked on the door softly. "Rory?" It occurred to him that he probably should have called or texted first but sometimes that was how it happened. Common sense wasn't always his forte. Most especially when he was frustrated.
"Are you around?"
