"I'm sure you don't know this, Baines, but theater is sort of a popularity contest." He frowned and absently started wiping something on the counter, looking--could it be?--sadly down at it. "And I haven't exactly been winning awards lately." He sighed and regained some of his composure, flicking his towel back over his shoulder, "Besides I wouldn't want the lead. I'd rather play Claudio." He rolled his eyes, "Having the lead is so overrated." At one point in time he would've given anything to be the lead, but had found that he got more out of playing characters who weren't always in the spotlight.
David smirked, "No, but I bet you'd look good." He leaned forward on the counter, getting comfortable, as he figured he'd be talking to her for a while. Everyone else was taken care of for the time being, and she'd obviously come in to talk. "I'm glad you cleared that up for me."
