Cait shook her head and grinned. "I don't have the energy to beat you today. Plus, if we just threw down right now, I'm not sure you'd still have a job." It wasn't like it was one in the morning on a Tuesday night. The place was sort of busy. "I like having bartender friends. I won't jeopardize that." She scanned the wall behind him, looking at all the available alcohol she could pick from. She already knew everything they had, and what she liked, so it was pointless. "I'll have the usual, please. And a water."
She stretched her arms while he made it, using the time to check out the other occupants. There were a few older women at the other end, a couple guys in the corner at a table and some kids who might have been her age a few stools over from her. Quite a turn out for a Sunday, but she'd seen the majority of them in there before.
"Did you see Mrs. Tibbits announcement on the web? About the town play?"
