Mia bristled a little at his tone. A little uppity there but in the interest of keeping dry Mia stuffed it to the back of her mind. Besides she probably had her moments of uppity behavior herself. Which was not the point at all because it was her that was doing it, but god he needed to chill out. "What's it on?"
She bit her lip, "Something like that." Now would not be the best time to tell him that she really didn't have anything she needed to buy, she just wanted out of the rain. She hated the rain. Who knew though maybe she'd find something interesting in the place which would make the otherwise completely pointless trip into town worth it.
Under the awning Mia stepped away from Calvin, placing a respectable distance between them. She reached out for the door handle and pulled open the door, bells tinkling pleasantly against the glass to announce their entrance. "Let's have a look around, shall we?" She started and then backpedaled a bit realizing that she was assuming he was coming in with her, "That is if you want to." She smiled at him sheepishly and entered the store holding the door open to him in case he was going to join her.
