Who: Mia and Calvin. What: It’s raining and Mia doesn’t have an umbrella, Calvin offers to share. Where: Town. When: Today. Rating: TBD
The day had started out so nicely, with the clear blue skies and hardly a cloud in sight. However, as Mia walked through the streets it was becoming increasingly clear that maybe the weather wasn’t feeling so nice after all. The disappointing part was that the beautiful crystal blue skies were the exact thing that had convinced her to procrastinate on her homework. Amused at the thought her thoughts shifted to what how Ben told her to try not doing work recently. If he were around he would be so very proud of her for this.
Glancing warily at the sky Mia paused at the sidewalk. The clouds it seemed were ready to burst at any moment with the collected water vapor and pour it onto the little island she lived on. The only problem, she didn’t have a single clue where she planned on spending her afternoon and thus was still wandering the sidewalks without a destination in mind.
It seemed though that since she didn’t have any destination (or an umbrella thanks to some very rare poor planning) the skies would choose the moment she paused at the corner to open up with the intent of annoying her. Rain fell but not in that usual slow sputtering that marks the start of a drizzle, but with the full intent of going straight to that single step below a torrential downpour but still a constant stream from sky to ground. Heaving a sigh Mia zipped up her jacket in the hope that it would prevent her from getting entirely soaked. She would give anything to either have her umbrella or be inside right now.
