"Right." Francis tried not to sound ungrateful. Even if it was annoying he had to play babysitter, or dad, or whatever the hell for some kid, and he knew that his inconvenience was someone else's convenience, Francis did know that if Abendroth meant nothing he wouldn't be placed in his care. In one way or another, at least for the time being, Abendroth was a priority for the scientific community, and Arthur's call meant that Francis was trusted by them. If he really thought about it, it was an honor.
