Who: Annie and Penny What: P has some potentially hot news which has A curious to see what is up. Plus there's always A's little boyfriend, M. When: Saturday night
Annie sent off a quick text to her dad that she wouldn't be home for dinner. Though it was mostly because Annie was rather curious as to what Penny had to tell her. The last time had been rather interesting to find out what was up now. Maybe Reporter Boy was reacting well to some of Penny's flirting. Not that Annie could really see Penny doing much in the way of flirting. That was the sort of thing that she was more infamous for which was probably why she got along with Penny so well. It was someone to keep her grounded and pull her away from the groups of college guys at the mall. Not that Annie had been doing too much of that lately. Frou Frou had been keeping her generally occupied with hours when she wasn't busy with one thing or another with school. Her life was structured and just the way she liked it. (Though her plots to get more than a passing mention with Songbird were still in the works.)
She'd wondered briefly over dinner if it had anything to do with the recent murders, though things seemed to have calmed down when it appeared to be an isolated incident. There was still the matter of how exactly they had died still hanging out there. Somehow if Penny did know anything though, it didn't seem likely that her best friend would be the first person to know. The adults were far better for that sort of stuff and she was no Nancy Drew. Unless, of course, she could have the Hardy Boys along for the adventure. Trying to figure out the ingredients of a pasta sauce that didn't make Penny break out and was still delicious though was enough of a mystery. "Anything I can do to help clean up?"
