Oh god, that smirk...Cady melted a little bit on the inside just as she had back in his class...her casual smirk mimicked his own, and she leaned across the the bar, her eyes on his. "Now, have you ever met a bartender who doesn't know their drinks?" She winked, standing back up as another patron approached the bar, calling for a beer. She grabbed a blue light from the fridge under the counter, popping the top with bottle opener on her belt. She made the monetary exchange, tucking the tip into the pocket of her apron.
Cady laughed as he described the college life rather accurately, but some of those things weren't new to Cady. "I live at home, but I haven't had a curfew since I was fourteen. Well... I did, but my parents gave up on trying to enforce it." Cady was the rebel child of the family while her brother Calvin was the golden boy who actually obeyed the rules.
