What: Confrontation
Where: Their apartment complex
When: Today

This had gotten completely out of hand. Natalie had gone from talking to Evan every day to not hearing from him or even seeing him in a week. She knew he was coming home. She would hear his door opening and closing at night. And she knew he was getting her text messages, too. She'd made sure her phone was working (and had someone else text him just in case his wasn't). She'd tried knocking on his door when she knew he was home, but nothing.
For the life of her, she couldn't understand what had changed. It was one thing if a guy stuck around just long enough to sleep with you and then disappeared, but they hadn't even had sex yet! They had been going on a few dates, and yeah, okay, making out a decent amount, but Evan had seemed genuinely interested! And she knew she hadn't given the impression she wasn't, so why was he so blatantly avoiding her? What had she done?
She was determined to find out- and so, a plan was hatched.
"Hey Lex!" Natalie didn't even have her cell phone. It was lying in her purse. "Oh yeah! Sure. I'll be right over." Pause. (Lexie was obviously talking now). "Do I need to bring anything?" Another brief pause. "Cool. Yeah! See you soon!" Natalie muddled around as if getting ready, before grabbing her keys and heading outside. She locked her door took a few steps away, and then stopped dead in her tracks, turning to face Evan's door. If what she'd heard from her neighbor was true...
Enter Evan Elwood, stage right.
