Even though the sign was quiet Josie heard it. She held on just enough to ruffle his feathers. It was one of her many skills, knowing just how far to push someone (someone male that is) before pulling away. She waded slightly into the water enjoying the cool temperature. Josie shut her eyes. She snapped them open a second later when Miles snuck up behind her and whispered in her ear. She let her eyes slip shut again when she felt his lips graze the side of her neck.
Josie slowly opened her eyes and locked them on him as he moved past her. She saw the wink. So, he thought he now held the upper hand now...silly boy. She tilted her head to the side with a slight smile, "Maybe I do...pray tell how do you plan on convincing me?" She leaned back and moved her arms and legs slightly to float on her back.
