Today was definitely a good day in Josie's mind, despite the drama about her and Luke's little tryst. Jacen wasn't mad and her friends weren't mad...well most of them at least. Mao was still pissed at her and it wasn't a huge leap for her to think that James was too. But whatever, she didn't do anything wrong. Mao would get over it eventually, so would James. She wouldn't go crying to them begging for them to forgive her. Screw that, Josie Allen didn't beg.
Since she knew summer was quickly coming to an end and soon she'd be stuck in those stuffy classrooms again with those boring teachers. Also college applications. Jacen was smart he had limitless possibilities, she'd be lucky if Hobbs accepted her. She shook those thoughts from her head. Real life drama wasn't going to weigh her down today. Today was about going out and catching those wonderful rays.
Josie slipped on her little red two piece and threw on a tank top and shorts with her track shoes. She grabbed a towel, her sunglasses, and a canvas bag with the essentials. Her iPod, two bottles of Gatorade, sunscreen, and plenty of snacks. She quickly ran to the beach and surveyed her surroundings. That's when her eyes fell on a most delectable site. She let her eyes scan over his toned figure. She definitely wanted a piece of that.
She tossed her blonde curls over her shoulder and sashayed to a spot on the beach. She set up her towel near him. Not right next to him, but not so far that he wouldn't notice her. Turning away from him she slowly slipped off her tank top, shorts and tennis shoes. She pulled out the sunscreen and started to run the lotion into her long legs, toned from years of track.
