"I did, didn't I?" He joked. "Though I'm not sure what kind of danger you were in, there."
He knew she was impressed, and debated playing it up. After a moment, he turned to the water again, bringing the tide out a bit so he could walk closer to the shore, then motioned for Poppy to follow him without dropping his concentration. It was a nice boost to his ego to have an admirer. At least she couldn't see the effort it took for him to part that bit of the ocean.
