"Freak-shmeak," She said, brushing his latest comment off with a flick of her wrist. "Plenty of people would be lucky to do the things you do." She didn't mention herself, but naturally, it was implied. He must of noticed by now how impressed she was. Similar to the old cartoons, her eyes were practically bugging out of their sockets when she first witnessed his watery display.
She'd oohed and aahed as Alex attempted the Moses-esque move she'd suggested, stunned that he'd been able to do it downpat, and almost effortlessly executed to boot. She'd been half joking as she made the biblical references. Apparently, it was a piece of cake for him. "Bravo, bravo! Encore!" She clapped her hands like a spectator at an opera might after a grand performace.
"Hmmm...Eureka, I got it!" She swiftly snapped her fingers as a thought came to her. "You saved me at Twisty Treats, remember? You up and rescued me from the perilous pit of boredom, and even gave me a big fat tip."
