Alex turned and dropped his rather large column of water as the dock he'd hit washed away into the ocean, no reduced to splintered driftwood. There was no hiding the look of horror on his face when he turned around to see her there, and he'd heard her start to speak so there was no covering up what he had done. Certainly the rain wouldn't be possibly blamed for the gestures he had made with his hands to help him control the arc of the water tower.
"Oh...Oh shit. Poppy, please, you can't tell anyone," He began to plead, "No one else can know about this, all right? Everything you just saw, that was the ocean."
