Who: Bobby and Jake When: tonight Where: Frye's Leap Convenience What: visiting, flirting Rated: Hmm. TBD but they're in public so probably lowish with innuendos?
It was her night off, but that didn't matter. Bobby wasn't really doing anything around the house anyways. It wasn't like she had the best relationship with her parents, so socializing with them was out. And Noah didn't live at home, and she doubted he wanted a nighttime visit from his favorite baby sister. She had friends, obviously, but the majority of them happened to work at the store, too. So, there she was. Visiting them.
Her excuse was needing something to drink. Her house didn't have anything. At least nothing that she wanted. And where else was she supposed to go to buy something? It made sense to use her discount at work, didn't it?
"Hey, Jake," she said, as she made her way to the register he was bagging at. She'd made it a point not to stop by the deli. Those assholes weren't worth her time. And James didn't appear to be working. "Having fun?" She paid the cashier, but stayed there. It was practically empty in the store anyways. It usually was on a Tuesday night.
