Carter let out a sigh of relief that he got her name right. "Nadi's good," short and easy to remember.
Carter stared at her iced coffee. Gross, Carter hated coffee, he much preferred getting his caffeine fix from soda, although recently he'd been indulging in some Red Bull for his all night pre-production planning. Not Silent Hill was serious business. This was it...this was going to be his big break...this was going to be epic...this is NOT SILENT HILL!!! Timpanis!!! Often when Carter had a tangent in his thoughts he'd have a soundtrack depending on what kind of tangent it was.
He noticed Nadine was staring at him...oh...she had asked him a question, "Well crew for now, the costume and make up people aren't here yet," They better be soon or...he'd kill them...well no...no he wouldn't...he'd send a scathing text...no...not that either. He'd probably send Glory to their house to see what was up. That's what ADs were for...well they were when one didn't have a production assistant, or PA.
"Well...I guess we could start setting up the first scene. I mean we're outside so there isn't much we have to do. Also what scene we do first kind of depends on which of the actors arrive when. I mean once Annie and Lexie arrive they can get Nadi ready and we can do the stock zombie footage for the special effects. Oh," Carter ran over to something rolled up and blue, "I brought a tarp, sort of as a fake blue screen so we can do sort of far away zombie shots so later you can splice them together to make the zombie horde!"
