It had been a slow news week as far as he was concerned. Or at least it seemed a little sad when the highlights of his week had been a party where the guest of honor had almost died and glancing through journals. Really if he were a little more evil he might have gone and sent a couple of notices to Songbird just to see if she/he actually wrote about it. Teenagers arguing was hardly newsworthy and kind of made him glad that he had gotten out of that stage of his life. Unfortunately the 20-something's were just as bad, but they were legal to drink which just about made it worse. He liked having a good time, but it became something else when it was your own place being trashed. It wasn't like his sofa had just come out of an alleyway where it had been abandoned by someone to be cleaned up by him. It might be purchased one piece at a time, but everything in his apartment was new. His mom had made the mistake long ago telling him that he shouldn't take hand-me-downs for an apartment which had left her with all the same furniture she had likely hoped to pass off on him.
Which also had one room now cleaned out and Geri's mom having refused to let her go. Such was life and he was now half a month in to trying to cover all of his expenses on just his paycheck. He'd seen an ad go through the paper, but was fairly sure that was for someone who was in a situation much like his own. Which didn't do him much good other than not being qualified anyhow and likely finding the small pool of potential room mates getting smaller. Maybe he'd go kidnap Issac and make him pay rent to get away from their parents. For now he was just cutting corners where he could which meant making his own lunch of a now-cold grilled cheese that had been burnt that morning, an apple, and his water bottle. It wasn't much, but it should get him through an afternoon of potentially pressing his ear against the door of some of Frye Island's most powerful. Or even just sitting there and trying not to look completely out of place while trying to listen to people. After he choked this down of course...
