Lexie probably would've been surprised at herself too, if her mind were functioning properly. The alcohol and David's charm were a deadly combination, one that Lexie didn't have any hope of resisting, and the fact that she genuinely liked - really liked - David was no help either. Perhaps she hadn't consciously known that this situation was inevitable when she'd pulled him out of the party, but some part of her brain certainly had, and it was fighting like hell for her to stop and to listen. Not that she did.
