A pang of guilt punched Vivian in her stomach. This wasn't fair to Calvin, but now certainly wasn't the time for such things. She knew he would never leave her, but still... it was going to be difficult. Everything seemed so clear now, in her mind. It was a silly thing to say, considering how sleepy she was. She sighed and laid her head on his chest again. "I'll tell you later, I promise. Just... now isn't the time," she said, a yawn breaking her sentence in two. Thinking about it, she was amazed at how long it had been since the two had slept in the same bed, together. It was comforting and she knew that between her and Calvin, she wasn't the only one who felt a security behind it - or she hoped so, at least. She smiled when he yawned. "It's time for us to get a little shut-eye, I think," she said quietly.
"Just for everything. We don't hang out nearly as much anymore, and I'm always such a bitch to Katie. And... I dunno - everything!" She snuggled closer. "I'm sorry. Especially for Katie. But... I just can't - “Her speech was interrupted by yet another strong yawn. She wiped her eyes of the water that had somehow found a way through her yawn and continued. "Like her. You know? Actually you don't, right? That's good. I'm just saying that I don't want to get between the two of you," she told him, even though her subconscious said the opposite. She realized that she had actually begun to babble, and shut her mouth of whatever it had decided it wanted to say next. Closing her eyes she waited for Calvin's reply and sleep, whichever came first...
