Calvin laughed a little. "You always say that," he pointed out. It didn't really bother him much, since it was such a common reaction, but sometimes he wished that he would tell her what she was really thinking. For now, he let her deflect and turned to mount her pillows a little higher, leaning his back and and head against them a little. He was tired, and he was sure that she was too. Maybe it was better this way, he thought. They hadn't slept in the same bed since they were little, but it was definitely comforting to have his sister's presence there.
